FC-RUSIO-3224 Remote Universal Safe I/O Module
The Honeywell FC-RUSIO-3224 is a Remote Universal Safe I/O module with thirty-two software-configurable channels. Each channel can be assigned as a digital input, digital output, analog input or analog output, allowing one Series C hardware format to support varied safety instrumented functions.
Two 100 Mbit/s Ethernet links connect the module to a Safety Manager controller, while redundant processor logic, watchdogs, channel diagnostics and one-millisecond event time stamping support applications up to SIL 3. The module mounts on its matching IOTA and requires a second RUSIO-3224 when a redundant I/O configuration is required.
