On April 8, ABB Motors and Generators in Shanghai celebrated a remarkable milestone—marking the 30th anniversary of Shanghai ABB Motors Co., Ltd. and the 20th anniversary of ABB High Voltage Motors Ltd. This achievement was highlighted during a special media open day under the theme "Celebrating Decades of Innovation, Powering a Zero-Carbon Future." It wasn’t just a celebration of history, but a reaffirmation of ABB’s ongoing commitment to China’s industrial growth and its role in supporting the country’s green transition.
This event coincided with China’s ambitious "Dual Carbon" goals, aiming for peak carbon emissions by 2030 and carbon neutrality by 2060. ABB’s continuous efforts in the country reflect a strong focus on energy-efficient motor solutions, emphasizing sustainability through innovation, local adaptation, and high-performance products.
Technological Advancements: Driving China’s Industrial Upgrades
