It primarily serves as the bridge between the control processor (HC800) and external networks like the PN800 Plant Network.24 VDC ± 10% at 400 mA; typical consumption is 10 W for a dual-module setup (5 W per module). 64 MB RAM, 4 MB ROM, and 2 MB NVRAM (non-volatile RAM).
- Fuel Skids: Controlling gas and oil valve trains and flame scanners.
- Feedwater Pumps: Regulating high-pressure pumps to maintain drum levels.
- Vertical Turbine Pumps: Managing start/stop sequences and surge protection.
- Stacker-Reclaimers: Handling the positioning logic for large rail-mounted machinery.
- Draft Fans: Managing Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) for Forced Draft (FD) and Induced Draft (ID) fans to maintain furnace pressure.
