What is the function of the ABB INICT03A module?
+The INICT03A is a computer transfer module designed to provide a host computer or console with access to an INFI-NET communication loop. It handles all communication with the host computer, receiving commands from the host, executing them, and then replying. This allows the host computer to perform data acquisition, process monitoring, and control functions within a Symphony or INFI 90 system. -
How does it communicate with the host computer?
+It can communicate serially via an RS-232-C connection or through a SCSI connector on the IMMPI01 module, with user-selectable communication rates up to 19.2 kbaud (RS-232-C) or 4 Mbytes/sec (SCSI). -
