SDCS-CON-4 board is equipped with FlashPROM which contains the firmware plus the storedparameters. Parameters handled by DCS800 panel or DWL, PCtool or by Serial communicationparameter service are stored immediately in the FlashPROM.Parameters handled by cyclic serial communication (dataset table Group 90 - 92) are not stored in theFlash PROM. They must be stored by means of ParApplSave (16.6) service.The faultlogger entries are stored in the FlashPROM during power down (auxiliary power supply OFF).

The ABB SDCS-CON-4 (3ADT313900R1501) is a main control board for DCS800 industrial DC drives, facilitating communication between the drive, PLC, and I/O. It supports 8 digital I/O, various analog I/O, and is used for motor control in converters ranging from 20A to 5,200A. The board features FlashPROM for firmware and is commonly conformally coated for harsh environments.
