Description
The ABB SDCS-CON-4 3ADT313900R1501 is an interface board. It is the main control board for ABB DCS800 series DC drives. The board is also compatible with DCS600 series drives. It serves as the central processing unit for motor control, regulation, and drive management.
The board incorporates multiple on-board power supplies. Connector X37 provides 48V at pin 3, 24V at pin 5, 15V at pin 7, -15V at pin 11, 5V encoder at pin 13, and 5V CPU at pin 23. The 5V CPU supply is monitored at 4.75V. If the voltage drops below this threshold, the CPU is forced to reset. The CPU also monitors the Powerfail signal from the power supply module (SDCS-PIN-4 or SDCS-POW-1).
