SPAM150C SPAM150C-AA Motor protection relay
The ABB SPAM150C SPAM150C-AA is a current-measuring multifunction motor-protection relay for the SPACOM system. It combines thermal overload, earth-fault, phase overcurrent, phase-unbalance and incorrect-phase-sequence protection for medium and large three-phase AC motors.
The relay is connected through current transformers and supervises motor current during starting and running. Its protection stages, start supervision, trip contacts and recorded indications must be coordinated with the motor data, current-transformer ratios and approved protection study before the relay is placed in service.
