The top terminal strip (positions 0–15) is dedicated to I/O signal wiring. The middle strip (positions 16–33) provides common (−V) connections, with B-16 serving as the daisy-chain supply in terminal and B-33 as the supply out terminal. The bottom strip (positions 34–51) provides positive voltage (+V) connections, with C-34 as the daisy-chain supply in terminal and C-51 as the supply out terminal. This daisy-chain capability allows multiple terminal bases to be connected in series for efficient power distribution without external terminal blocks.
The 1794-TB3 uses screw-clamp (cage clamp) termination technology, accepting solid or stranded copper conductors from 0.34 to 3.3 mm² (22–12 AWG) with maximum insulation thickness of 1.2 mm. Terminal screw torque is specified at 0.56–0.79 Nm. The open-style IP20 enclosure is designed for installation inside control cabinets.
