The 1771-OB provides 1500V AC (rms) backplane isolation, tested for one minute, separating the field-side output circuits from the PLC backplane electronics. The module includes individually fused output groups to provide protection for the field wiring and output circuitry. Status indicators located on the front of the 1771-OB allow maintenance personnel to monitor output operation during system diagnostics and troubleshooting.
