The X20CP1484-1 is a compact CPU module designed for the B&R X20 modular PLC system. The X20CP1484-1 combines an Intel Celeron 266 MHz compatible processor with a dedicated integrated I/O processor that handles data point processing in the background. This architecture allows the X20CP1484-1 to achieve a shortest task class cycle time of 800 µs while maintaining deterministic real-time performance.
Memory configuration on the X20CP1484-1 includes 64 MB of SDRAM for program and data storage, 1 MB of SRAM for user data, and support for up to 64 kB of remanent variables. The X20CP1484-1 buffers its real-time clock and remanent data using an integrated lithium battery with a minimum lifespan of three years. A battery monitoring function provides early warning of degraded buffer capacity.

Mount the Bus Module: Snap the X20 bus module onto a standard 35 mm DIN rail. If expanding an existing system, slide it to the left to mesh with the adjacent bus module connectors.Insert the CPU Electronics Module: Align the X20CP1484-1 electronics housing with the guide rails of the bus module.
