Description
The BENTLY NEVADA 330702-00-25-10-11-05 3300 XL 11 mm Proximity Probe is a non-contact displacement sensor for use with the 3300 XL 11 mm Proximity Transducer System. The complete system consists of a 3300 XL 11 mm probe, compatible extension cable, and 3300 XL 11 mm Proximitor Sensor. It provides proportional output signals for measuring shaft vibration, shaft position, and other dynamic displacement parameters in rotating equipment.
The 3300 XL 11 mm probe uses eddy-current sensing technology. The probe tip generates an electromagnetic field that interacts with the conductive target surface, normally a rotating shaft. Changes in the distance between the probe tip and the target produce corresponding electrical changes that are processed by the Proximitor Sensor to provide vibration and displacement measurements.
The 3300 XL 11 mm Proximitor Sensor is designed to replacethe 7200-series 11 mm and 14 mm Transducer Systems. Whenupgrading from the 7200-series system to the 3300 XL 11 mmsystem, every component must be replaced with 3300 XL 11mm components. In addition, the monitoring system must beupdated. The 330702 model is the standard-mount 3300 XL 11 mm probe with a 1/2-20 UNF-2A thread and armor. The stainless-steel armored cable provides additional mechanical protection in industrial environments where the probe lead may be exposed to vibration, abrasion, or other mechanical stresses. The probe also includes the standard locknut configuration with pre-drilled safety-wire holes.
