The 330101-00-71-05-01-05 is a Bently Nevada 3300XL 8 mm proximity probe with 3/8-24 UNF thread and without armor cable, designed as a component of the 3300XL 8 mm Proximity Transducer System. The 330101-00-71-05-01-05 provides an output voltage that is directly proportional to the distance between the probe tip and the observed conductive surface and can measure both static (position) and dynamic (vibration) values for machinery condition monitoring on fluid-film bearing machines, as well as Keyphasor reference and speed measurement applications.
The 3300 XL 8 mm system delivers the most advancedperformance in our eddy current proximity transducersystems. The standard 3300 XL 8 mm 5-meter system alsofully complies with the American Petroleum Institute’s (API)670 Standard for mechanical configuration, linear range,accuracy, and temperature stability. The 330101-00-71-05-01-05 incorporates a 75 Ω triaxial cable with FEP insulation and a stainless-steel probe body with a polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) probe tip. The electrical characteristics are factory controlled, allowing complete interchangeability with other probes of the same system length without field calibration. When combined with the specified extension cable and Proximitor Sensor, the system provides a 2.0 mm (80 mil) linear measurement range calibrated for AISI 4140 steel targets and complies with the performance requirements of API Standard 670.
