The card provides eight independent input channels, each optically isolated from the system and factory-tested to 1,500 VDC. Input detection levels are > 2.2 mA for the ON state and < 1 mA for the OFF state, with an approximate input impedance of 5 kΩ and a wetting voltage of 15 V. Channels are configurable as standard discrete inputs or pulse counters. In discrete input mode, the card accepts dry contact or discrete state sensors with switching rates below 2 Hz. In pulse count mode, the card accepts pulse trains up to 75 Hz.
