EZ1000 Eddy Current Sensor Converter
Emerson EZ1000 is an eddy current sensor converter in the AMS EZ 1000 range. It supplies and conditions a compatible eddy-current sensor chain for vibration, position and speed-related measurement. Configuration and calibration are performed with the documented AMS Machine Studio tools.
The converter operates from a negative DC supply and delivers a nominal -2 to -18 V analog output. USB supports configuration, calibration and service functions. Sensor type, extension cable, target material, chain length and warm-up conditions determine the applicable measuring performance; match those values before replacing a converter.
