The GE Fanuc 90-30 module with catalog number IC693CPU351 is part of the modular CPU sub-category. This CPU is designed for applications that require higher complexity, faster processing speed and support for large quantity of I/O. This module is a single-slot CPU module that is designed to be mounted to a 5-slot or 10-slot CPU baseplate.
The IC693CPU351 supports a large quantity of I/O specifically, 2048 Discrete Input points (%I); 2048 Discrete output points (%Q) and analog I/O words that varies depending on the software used however, the maximum configurable analog I/O is 32, 640 Words, each. Other internal register quantities available to this CPU are 1280 bits of binary global memory; 4096 bits of memory coils; 256 bits of temporary output coils; 128 bits of system status references; maximum of 32640 words of register memory and 28000 Words of system registers which can be used for reference table viewing only.
Built-in Voltage Protection: Protects the module and connected equipment, enhancing reliability in environments with power fluctuations.
Keyswitch Protection: Features a memory protect keyswitch that prevents unauthorized changes to the user program and data. It supports a RUN/STOP mode switch functionality in later firmware versions.
Watchdog Timer/Fault Detection: If the CPU fails to perform a scan or encounters a critical error (such as a CONFIGURATION MISMATCH), it can detect the fault and safely stop the CPU.
