      The IC693MDL231 isolated input module is a product of the GE Intelligent Platforms/GE Fanuc. It belongs to the Series 90-30 product line and it operates on a voltage of 240 Volts AC. This module is well-matched with the GE Series 90-30 PLCs. This input module comprises 8 isolated input points, with each point having a single power input terminal. It has input properties that make it best for use with different input devices which can be operated with the IC693MDL231 module due to its input features. These devices include electronic proximity switches, limit switches, and pushbuttons which can be operated when the users supply an external source of power. This input module does not use DC power because it is an AC module.

This module comes with 8 LEDs in a single row that show the "ON" and "OFF" status for input points 1 to 8. It also has a door panel on the front that allows for an insert between the interior and exterior surfaces. The outer surface of the insert records the information on circuit identification whenever the door closes. Additionally, there will be circuit wiring information on the interior surface of the insert. The insert comes with a red edge, which indicates that the IC693MDL231 module is a high-voltage device.
