      Input/output terminal board IS200ECTBG1A is part of the EX2100 Excitation Controller series. This board is an exciter contact terminal board (ECTB). The primary function of this model is to support excitation contact inputs and outputs. As the IS200ECTBG1A is labeled as a 1A it will only be operated in redundant mode. This model has the capability to control relay contact outputs and customer contact inputs.

      The IS200ECTBG1A GE Input/output terminal board may still be available for purchase and support from Amikon Limited beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).

      IS200ECTBG1A is an Exciter Contact Terminal Board manufactured and designed by General Electric as part of the EX21000 Series used in GE Excitation gas turbine control systems. The EX2100 Excitation Control's excitation contact outputs and inputs are supported by the IS200ECTB terminal board. There are two variations; the ECTBG1board is exclusively used in redundant control while the ECTBG2 board is exclusively used in simplex control. Two trip outputs on each board are used to drive a customer lockout that is managed by the EMIO board. Additionally, the EMIO board is in charge of four general-purpose Form-C contact outputs.
       
      The ECTB is monitoring six auxiliary contact inputs that are energized (wetted) with 70 V dc. Additionally, monitoring and 70 V dc powering are provided for the 52G and 86G contact inputs. Power is provided by both the M1 and M2 controllers for the redundant control
      Trip Contact Outputs: It features two dedicated trip contact outputs specifically used for protection signaling, such as driving a customer lockout.
       
      2-out-of-3 Voting: In redundant configurations, the board supports a 2-out-of-3 contact voting circuit for relay drivers, ensuring that a single component failure does not trigger a false trip or prevent a legitimate one.
       
      Integrated Lockout Monitoring: It monitors the 86G lockout input, a critical safety contact that prevents the generator from being energized or remaining online during a fault condition
      Electrical Isolation: Input contacts are isolated via series resistors to prevent field wiring faults from propagating back to the main controller.
       
      Transient Suppression: The board is designed to tolerate short-duration voltage transients from generator field circuits. Wetting voltage (typically 70 VDC) is regulated to prevent false input detection during these disturbances.
       
      Relay Contact Protection: Internal relays possess inherent protection to minimize wear and prevent damage during switching of inductive loads
