Description
The IOTA-R24 is a Honeywell Redundant IO Termination Assembly designed for use with Honeywell's Safety Manager and Functional Safety Controller (FSC) systems. The IOTA-R24 provides redundant I/O paths for critical industrial automation applications, ensuring continuous operation even if one I/O path fails. The IOTA-R24 supports two redundant RUSIO-3224 or RUSLS-3224 modules, with Module A mounted in the top position and Module B in the bottom position, each controlled independently via POWER 1 and POWER 2 switches.
The IOTA-R24 provides 32 universal I/O channel connections through CN1 and CN2 connectors, with the minus-row connected to 0V and the plus-row serving as the actual channels for any type of I/O field signal. The IOTA-R24 includes four identical V+ connections on CN3 for powering active analog input devices.
The IOTA-R24 features two RJ45 connectors for 100MB Ethernet communication, designated RIOLA and RIOLB, facilitating high-speed data transfer in safety-critical systems. The IOTA-R24 operates with a 24V DC power supply (-15% to +30%) and handles a maximum supply load of 10A, with a 15A blade fuse for protection
