The Analog Output (AO) Module delivers high-level constant current to actuators and recording/indicating devices. Series C AO module supports the FAILOPT parameter on a per channel basis. The user can configure each channel toeither HOLD LAST VALUE, or SHED to a SAFE VALUE. The Output will always go to zero, the safe state, if the IOMdevice electronics fails.This Series C IO function will be able to detect and annunciate open field wire with a Channel Soft Failure indication.

The Honeywell CC-PAOH01 (51405039-175) is a 16-channel Analog Output module with HART communication, for the Experion PKS Series C I/O system. The module must be plugged into a specific Input Output Termination Assembly (IOTA). It does not use a separate chassis. In redundant configurations, the output gap to the field during a switchover is 10 ms maximum.: Provided directly through the IOTA, eliminating the need for external marshalling power supplies.
