The IXYS MCC95-16IO1B is a 116A, 1600V dual thyristor module (SCR) in a TO-240AA package designed for phase control, rectifying, and soft-start applications. It features planarly passivated chips, high-reliability direct copper bonded (DCB) ceramic base plates, and 3600V isolation.

Surface Preparation: Ensure the heatsink surface is clean and free of burrs or dust.
Thermal Compound: Apply a uniform layer of high-quality thermal grease (not less than 0.5 W/mK) to the base plate. A thickness of approximately 0.08 mm is recommended for optimal thermal resistance.
Fixing Screws: Use M5 screws for the mounting holes. Tighten them evenly to a torque of 2.5 – 4.0 Nm (22 – 35 lb.in).
