Description
The Pepperl+Fuchs KFD2-SOT3-EX1.LB is a single-channel switch amplifier and isolated barrier designed for the safe transfer of digital signals between hazardous and non-hazardous areas. The module accepts inputs from NAMUR proximity sensors or mechanical contacts installed in hazardous locations and converts them into isolated transistor outputs for control systems, PLCs, DCS platforms, and safety instrumented systems.
Operating from a 24 V DC power supply, the amplifier incorporates galvanic isolation between the field circuit, control circuit, and power supply.
