A port configured as a virtual Modbus master device onthe MVI46-MCM module actively issues Modbuscommands to other nodes on the Modbus network. Onehundred (100) commands are supported on each port.Additionally, the master ports have an optimized pollingcharacteristic that polls slaves with communicationproblems less frequently. The SLC processor can beprogrammed to control the activity on the port by activelyselecting commands from the command list to executeor issuing commands directly from the ladder logic.
