Long-time protection (L) features adjustable current setting Ir (0.4–1.0 × In) and tripping delay tr (0.5–24 seconds at 6 × Ir), with a 20-minute thermal memory that prevents unnecessary trips during short-term overloads while ensuring protection against sustained overheating. Short-time protection (S) offers adjustable pickup Isd (1.5–10 × Ir) and delay tsd (0–0.4 seconds) with selectable I²t ON/OFF curves for enhanced discrimination with downstream devices. Instantaneous protection (I) provides fixed or adjustable pickup li (2–15 × In) for immediate clearing of high-magnitude short-circuits. Ground-fault protection (G) features adjustable pickup Ig (0.2–1.0 × In for ratings <1250 A; 500–1200 A for ≥1250 A) and delay tg (0.1–0.4 seconds) with I²t ON/OFF options, protecting against earth leakage that could indicate insulation degradation or personnel hazards.

Remove the Accessory Cover: Loosen the structural screws securing the front plastic accessory facade of the circuit breaker frame and pull the cover away.
Disconnect Internal Wiring Blocks: If you are upgrading an older or different style unit, safely pull out the secondary green plug-in wire harnesses (such as the 12-pin background communications connector) located near the top boundary.
Slide Out the Existing Unit: Loosen the dual retention locking screws built into the bottom edges of the old module and carefully slide it outward along its alignment rails.
