The 15-pin Sub-D connector X6 connects to the SINEC H1 bus coupler via the SINEC H1 drop cable 727-1, with a maximum cable length of 50 m.The drop cable must be latched into place using the latch mechanism. Parameterization of the CP1470 — including setting the Ethernet address and administration — is performed via the asynchronous serial interface at the 25-pin connector X5 using the SINEC NML configuring software from a PC. The parameterization interface supports RS 232 (V.24) and 20 mA line current (TTY) physical interfaces at a fixed baud rate of 9.6 kbaud.
