VIPA 214-2BM02 features 48 kB work memory and 80 kB load memory, providing sufficient capacity for complex control algorithms and process data, while achieving typical execution times of 0.18 μs per Bit and 0.78 μs per Word to ensure fast and responsive automation cycles.

VIPA 214-2BM02 integrates a PROFIBUS-DP Master interface supporting data transmission rates up to 12 MBaud, enabling seamless connection to up to 125 PROFIBUS-DP slave devices and decentralized peripheral modules across the System 200V architecture.

VIPA 214-2BM02 includes an MP2I (MPI) interface that allows direct programming device connection and serial point-to-point communication to a PC, and with VIPA's "green cable" can be directly connected to the RS232 interface without requiring an MPI adapter.

The VIPA 214-2BM02 is a CPU 214DPM PLC CPU from the VIPA System 200V modular control system, programmable with Siemens STEP7. It is equipped with an integrated PROFIBUS-DP master interface and 48/80 KB of work/load memory.

This CPU operates on a DC 24 V power supply with a permitted range of 20.4 to 28.8 V. It features reverse polarity protection and draws a rated current of 1.5 A with a maximum backplane bus current drain of 3 A. The power loss is rated at 5 W.

The integrated work memory of 48 KB and load memory of 80 KB provide sufficient capacity for medium-sized automation tasks. An MMC slot supports external memory cards up to 512 MB for expanded program storage. The memory is divided equally between program and data areas.
