SCP461-E1 S2 Safety control processor module
Yokogawa SCP461-E1 S2 is a processor module in the ProSafe-RS safety instrumented system family for SSC60S/SSC60D and S2SC70S/S2SC70D safety control units. It executes the configured safety application and coordinates field I/O in process plants, including oil and gas production, chemical processing and power generation.
The module combines dual Vnet/IP network connections, front status indicators and hardware configuration switches. Application logic is retained in flash memory, while operating information is stored in nonvolatile memory and lithium-battery-backed management storage. A compatible pair of identical processor modules supports the documented redundant configuration; complete suffix, style, station hardware and software requirements must match.
