The chopper transistor voltage control in the 1336-WB035 is a hysteretic voltage comparator that regulates the voltage of the DC bus during regeneration. Voltage dividers within the 1336-WB035 reduce the DC bus voltage to a value usable in signal circuit isolation and control, and the DC bus feedback voltage is compared to a reference voltage to actuate the chopper transistor. The average DC bus voltage regulated by the 1336-WB035 is 750 VDC for 460 VAC input applications.
Protective fuses in the 1336-WB035 are sized to work in conjunction with a Crowbar SCR.
