The 1756-ENBT is an Allen-Bradley ControlLogix EtherNet/IP bridge module to facilitate high-speed data transfer between Logix 5000 controllers and remote I/O modules over an EtherNet/IP network. The module operates at 10/100 Mbps with auto-negotiation through a single RJ45 Ethernet port. It supports a maximum of 64 TCP/IP connections and 128 Logix connections for I/O and information exchange. The module handles 64 CIP unconnected messages on the backplane and 64 on the Ethernet network. Up to 32 multicast tags are supported. Unicast connections are available when using RSLogix 5000 software version 16.03.00 or later. The module supports socket services and SNMP with password protection.
