The processing speed of the 1756-L85E controller is superior to other controllers in the series, and its built-in communication ports consist of 1 USB 2.0 port and 1 RJ-45 10/100/1000 Mbps Gigabit EtherNet port. It can support up to 300 EtherNet/IP nodes, 4,000 analog I/O, and 128,000 digital I/O.

The 1756-L85E can withstand an operating vibration of 2g at 10-500 Hz, an operating shock of 30g, and a nonoperating shock of 30g. It is UL-listed for use in the US and Canada, UL-marked for Class I, Division 2 Group A, B, C, and D hazardous locations, and CE-certified for use in the EU. The 1756-L85E has no enclosure.
The Allen-Bradley 1756-L85E is the top of the line ControlLogix controller from the latest controller release. It features a 40MB user memory, with Discrete I/O capacity maintained at 128,000 and Analog I/O of 4000. This controller can implement a total of 32 tasks where up to 1000 programs per task may be embedded. By defining tasks, user program can be effectively segmented and prioritized depending of the intended sequence of execution.
This embedded Ethernet communication port of this controller support up to 1GB ethernet communication with auto-negotiation feature and may be configured using BOOTP-DHCP and assigned as dynamic or static IP address.

Mounting: Align the circuit board with the top and bottom chassis guides. Slide the module into the slot and press firmly until it seats into the backplane.
SD Card Installation: Open the door on the controller’s front panel. Insert the SD card with the contact end first (contacts on the right, label on the left) and press until it clicks.
