The 1756-OF4 features 15-bit resolution with 320 µV/bit voltage resolution and 650 nA/bit current resolution. Output accuracy is better than 0.05% of range for calibrated units, with module error of 0.15% for voltage and 0.3% for current. Offset drift is 50 µV/°C (voltage) and 100 nA/°C (current); gain drift is 25 ppm/°C (voltage) and 50 ppm/°C (current). Settling time to 95% of final value is less than 2 ms.
The module draws 150 mA from the 5.1V DC backplane and 120 mA from the 24V DC backplane, for a total backplane power of 5.8 W. Maximum power dissipation is 3.25 W for 4-channel current output or 4.9 W at 60°C. Thermal dissipation is rated at 10.91 BTU/hr.
