Central Ground Bus: Each enclosure must have a central ground bus as a common connection for the chassis and the enclosure itself.
Conductor Specs: Use 1-inch (2.54 cm) copper braid or 8 AWG copper wire to connect the chassis to the ground bus.
Connection: Scrape paint from the panel to ensure electrical contact. Do not stack ground lugs directly on top of each other; separate them with nuts and star washers.
