1747-SN Remote I/O Scanner
1747-SN is a Remote I/O scanner for the Allen-Bradley SLC 500 family. It connects a compatible SLC processor to remote I/O chassis and supported Remote I/O devices.
The scanner acts as the master of a daisy-chained Remote I/O link over shielded twisted-pair cable. DIP switches select the supported communication rate, and the controller configuration allocates the discrete I/O image. Up to four logical racks can be addressed; Series B or later scanners also support the documented block-transfer functions. Status indicators report link and module conditions.
