BK3120 PROFIBUS Economy plus Bus Coupler
Beckhoff BK3120 is an Economy plus PROFIBUS Bus Coupler for the BK3xx0 Bus Terminal system. It connects modular field I/O to a compatible PROFIBUS DP master in machine and process automation, supporting DP-V1 parameter access alongside cyclic I/O exchange.
The coupler uses a shielded 9-pin D-sub fieldbus connection, automatic baud-rate detection up to 12 Mbaud and a 24 V DC supply. It supports 64 directly connected Bus Terminals, or up to 255 with the appropriate K-bus extension, with 128 input bytes and 128 output bytes available over PROFIBUS.
