The 21000-16-05-00-039-03-02 is certified as a CSA Type 4 enclosure and is fully compliant with the American Petroleum Institute's (API) 670 Standard for externally mounted proximity probe housings.

Prepare Machine Case: Ensure the machine housing has a clean, tapped 3/4-14 NPT port.
Set Initial Thread Depth: Thread the main housing body into the machine case. The sleeve can be adjusted up to ±0.5 inches (±13 mm) to achieve the required probe penetration depth.
Adjust the Gap: Set the probe gap relative to the target shaft. For a standard 3300 XL 8 mm probe, the core electrical gap is typically set to 2.0 mm (approx. -10 Vdc) using a voltmeter connected to the Proximitor sensor.
Lock the Housing: Once the target gap is established, tighten the external locknut against the machine case to freeze the sleeve position.
