Turbine case expansion transducer
Bently Nevada 135613-02 is a case-expansion LVDT transducer. The housed DC LVDT measures thermal growth of a turbine casing relative to its foundation. Movement of the connected rod changes the conditioned position signal. A suitable monitoring arrangement uses this information during startup and operation to evaluate casing growth.
