Bently Nevada 31000 identifies a proximity probe housing assembly family for machine casing installations. Its protective sleeve arrangement allows an appropriate probe to be adjusted or replaced from outside the machine. The family number alone does not establish the ordered probe, sleeve length or fittings.
The housing provides mechanical support and environmental protection rather than an independent vibration measurement. The manufacturer specifies that it is not explosion-proof.
