The 32000-29-05-04-090-07-02 is a Bently Nevada Metric Proximity Probe Housing Assembly recommended when mounting proximity probes through the machine case, and is typically used for radially mounted transducers, whether vibration or Keyphasor. The 32000-29-05-04-090-07-02 is made of polyphenylene sulfide (PPS), an advanced, high-strength thermoplastic with excellent corrosion resistance, while other elements of the housing assembly are made of corrosion-resistant stainless steel.
The 32000-29-05-04-090-07-02 allows external access to the proximity probe and its extension cable, permitting gap adjustment or probe replacement without disassembly of the machine. Prepare the Machine Case: If required (e.g., for short penetration lengths), counterbore the machine case to avoid side-view or rear-view interference with the probe. Install the Standoff/Sleeve: Screw the outer sleeve into the machine case.
