The Bently Nevada 144181-50-05 is a 3300 XL 5/8 mm Proximitor Sensor — the signal conditioning unit of the 3300 XL Proximity Transducer System — for precise, non-contact measurement of vibration, displacement, and position on rotating and reciprocating machinery. It converts the high-frequency signal from a 3300-series proximity probe (5 mm, 3300 8 mm, or 3300 XL 8 mm) into a proportional DC voltage output that represents the physical gap between the probe tip and the observed conductive surface.
The Proximitor Sensor accepts input from one non-contacting proximity probe and extension cable combination. It requires a -17.5 V DC to -26 V DC power supply at maximum 12 mA consumption (without barriers); when used with intrinsically safe barriers, the supply range narrows to -23 V DC to -26 V DC to maintain full linear range. Supply sensitivity is less than 2 mV per volt change, ensuring stable output regardless of power supply variations. Output resistance is 50 Ω.
