Gapping: Back the probe off to the desired gap. A standard Radial Vibration gap is approximately 1.27 mm (50 mils), which should correspond to a voltage output of -9 Vdc.
Locking: Once the gap is set, tighten the lock nut to a recommended torque of 68 N·m (50 ft·lb) to prevent movement during operation. Do not exceed 163 N·m (120 ft·lb).
