The Bently Nevada 330101-00-39-10-02-05 features a 3/8-24 UNF threaded stainless-steel housing with a 3.9-inch overall case length and 0-inch unthreaded length, making it suitable for installations requiring an extended probe body while maintaining standard mounting dimensions.

The system provides an output voltage that is directly proportional to the distance between the probe tip and the observed conductive surface and can measure both static (position) and dynamic (vibration) values. The system’s primary applications are vibration and position measurements on fluid-film bearing machines, as well as Keyphasor reference and speed measurements.

  • How should this proximity probe be properly grounded?

    The probe case is inherently grounded through its mechanical mounting bracket. During installation, verify that the bracket forms a low-impedance electrical path straight to the machine frame to prevent static and EMI signal distortion.
