Description
The Bently Nevada 330101-04-30-05-01-05 is a 3300 XL 8 mm eddy current proximity probe for high-precision, non-contact measurement of shaft vibration, axial position, eccentricity, differential expansion, and Keyphasor® reference signals in rotating machinery. It operates as one component of the 3300 XL 8 mm Proximity Transducer System, together with a compatible extension cable and Proximitor® Sensor, producing an output voltage proportional to the distance between the probe tip and the conductive target surface. The complete system is widely used in machinery protection and condition monitoring applications.
The system provides an output voltage that is directly proportional to the distance between the probe tip and the observed conductive surface and can measure both static (position) and dynamic (vibration) values. The system’s primary applications are vibration and position measurements on fluid-film bearing machines, as well as Keyphasor reference and speed measurements.
