Description
The Bently Nevada 172103-01 is a 16-channel RTD and isolated tip thermocouple I/O module for the 3500/65 Temperature Monitor in the 3500 Series Machinery Protection System. It provides the physical interface between temperature sensors and the 3500/65 monitor module, supporting both resistance temperature detectors (RTD) and isolated tip thermocouples.
The module accepts Pt100 RTD inputs in 3-wire and 4-wire configurations with a measurement range from −200°C to +850°C. For thermocouple inputs, it supports types J, K, T, E, R, S, B, and N with isolated tip (floating) configuration to prevent ground loops. Automatic cold junction compensation is provided internally.
Input signals are converted via a 16-bit ADC with an accuracy of ±0.1% of reading or ±0.5°C, whichever is greater. The module features internal terminations via barrier-type terminal blocks on the front panel, eliminating the need for external termination panels.

The Bently Nevada 172103-01 is an RTD / Isolated Tip Thermocouple I/O Module with Internal Terminations used in the 3500/65 Temperature Monitoring System.
