The adapter is needed if the project selectsS-series SIS controllers to interface to the engineering andoperator stations.The adapter is also needed if the DeltaV BPCS has S-series I/Ocards on the same node as the DeltaV SIS logic solvers.For the latter case, the DeltaV SIS logic solver carrier must bethe end carriers.
