It features an array of screw-type terminals for termination of the Genius main bus and optional redundant bus; One (1) 9pin D-shell monitor port for connection of a Hand-Held Programmer (HHP); It is capable of hosting up to Eight (8) Field control I/O and supports standard Profibus transmission speed such as 153.6 Kbaud standard, 153.6 Kbaud extended, 76.8 Kbaud, or 38.4 Kbaud.
The power consumption is a maximum of 48 Volt-Amps at 115 Volts AC and a maximum of 24 Watts at 125 Volts AC. The power consumption is specified for operation on a full load. The inrush current of the unit is 20 Amps at peak for a maximum of 3 milliseconds. The maximum holdup time of the unit is 20 milliseconds while the power supply output voltage is 6.5 Volts DC. The input frequency of the unit is 47 to 63 Hertz. The terminal block of the bus interface unit is 16 milliamps and its reliability rating is more than 600,000 hours.
