      The GE Fanuc Versamax IC200PNS002 PROFINET Scanner (PNS) Module requires the Proficy Machine Edition software that is version 7.0 or later and an RX3i PLC central processing unit with firmware version 7.0 or later. The module has 2 SC-Duplex connection ports rated at 100 Mbps. The Versamax PROFINET Scanner LEDs include the power supply LEDs which are the "PWR1" and "PWR2" LEDs and which glow solid green when on. The "OK" LED turns solid green when the module is operating normally. The "OK" LED for other modules is usually off or flashes when there is a power-up failure or a machine error, and if the scanner is not set up to restart automatically, the "OK" LED will flash amber. The "FAULT" LED shows the status of the Versamax node. The LED is usually off if there is no PROFINET diagnosis on the PROFINET scanner module or the modules in the node. If there is a diagnosis condition, the "FAULT" LED glows solid amber.
      Fail-Safe I/O Management: If network communication is lost, the scanner automatically manages I/O states according to your pre-defined module configurations.
       
      Media Redundancy Protocol (MRP): The module supports MRP in client mode, allowing it to function within ring topologies to maintain communication even if one network cable is severed.
       
      Maintenance Mode: Starting with firmware version 1.10, this mode allows you to service a remote node while maintaining active network connections, preventing a full system shutdown during minor maintenance.
