The GE IC200PWR002G 24 VDC 11-Watt Power Supply Unit is a dedicated VersaMax power module engineered to provide reliable operating power for VersaMax PLC installations. The module accepts a nominal 24 VDC input and converts it into regulated internal system power for CPUs, communication modules, and I/O devices connected to the VersaMax backplane. 24VDC Expanded 3.3V Power Supply IC200PWR002 provides backplane power forCPU, NIU, and I/O modules. It supplies up to 1.5 Amps output current via 3.3 volt and 5volt outputs, with up to 1.0 Amp on the 3.3 Volt output. Module backplane currentconsumption is summarized in appendix C.When mounted on the CPU or NIU module, it serves as the main power supply for thestation. It can also be used as a supplemental power supply when mounted on a PowerSupply Booster Carrier. Refer to the Power Supply Booster Carrier section of chapter 4 formore information.

Grounding & Floating: The DC- terminal is internally grounded to the frame and earth ground. Therefore, a floating power supply configuration is not possible.

DIN Rail Specifications: Mount all VersaMax modules onto a unified piece of unpainted, conductive 7.5mm x 35mm DIN rail that is at least 1mm thick.
Placement Alignment: Align the power supply module directly to the right side of the VersaMax CPU or Network Interface Unit (NIU). Alternatively, snap it onto a Booster Carrier to distribute power to expanded sub-racks.
Clearance Requirements: Maintain at least 50mm (2 inches) of open ambient airspace above, below, and on the sides of the assembly rack for natural ventilation.
