Reflective Memory PCIe card
PCIE-5565PIORC-100A00 is the 128 MByte, multimode-fiber version of GE Intelligent Platforms' low-profile PCI Express Reflective Memory node card. It shares memory data across a deterministic fiber-optic network, allowing participating computer systems to exchange updates without processor involvement in the network transfer.
Select the complete ordering code when matching memory capacity, optical transmission and the computer's slot arrangement. The original datasheet specifies a short bracket with a tall-bracket kit, while integration also requires suitable cooling and supported software. Match the memory, optical link and host platform
The GFA-1813A ordering table identifies PCIE-5565PIORC-100A00 with 128 MByte memory and multimode transmission. The separately listed 200A00 option has 256 MByte memory. Match the complete ordering code rather than using the family name as proof of an identical configuration.
The low-profile PCI Express card is specified with a short bracket and a tall-bracket kit for standard-height slots. The datasheet gives four PCIe lanes at 2.5 Gbit/s and requires forced-air cooling. Confirm the actual host slot, bracket, airflow and supplied accessories against the system documentation.
Reflective Memory distributes memory writes over the fiber-optic network to participating nodes. Verify the host driver and operating-system release, network layout and optical configuration before commissioning.
