Description

The Honeywell FC-TELD-0001 UIO Earth Leakage Sensor is a specialized earth fault monitoring module used within Honeywell Safety Manager systems to detect insulation failures and ground leakage conditions in 24 VDC power supply networks. The device continuously supervises the electrical condition of a monitored power group and provides early warning of developing earth faults before they can affect system operation.

The module operates by establishing a reference earth voltage of approximately +4.1 VDC relative to the monitored 0 VDC supply. Variations in the resulting current flow provide diagnostic information regarding the magnitude and polarity of any earth leakage condition. The Honeywell FC-TELD-0001 is a Universal Input Output (UIO) earth leakage sensor designed to detect residual currents in electrical systems. It provides critical protection against electrical shocks and fire hazards resulting from ground faults in industrial and commercial installations.

The sensor offers 30 mA trip sensitivity for early fault detection and operates on 230/400 V AC with support for currents up to 630 A. The 24 V DC control voltage enables integration with safety and control systems. Response time is less than 25 ms with a 5-second reset delay after fault clearance.

The FC-TELD-0001 features LED indication for visual alarm and test status, a manual reset button, and one SPDT auxiliary contact output rated at 2 A / 250 V AC for remote signaling or interlocking. Power consumption is under 5 VA.
