The CSNK500M-600 is a Honeywell CSN Series closed-loop current transducer designed for precise and isolated measurement of AC, DC, or impulse currents in industrial applications. The CSNK500M-600 utilizes closed-loop Hall effect current sensing technology, providing accurate current measurement with excellent linearity and fast response time. 

The CSNK500M-600 provides a nominal measuring range of ±500A with a peak measuring range of ±1275A, accommodating high-current industrial applications such as motor drives, power converters, and welding equipment. The CSNK500M-600 delivers high accuracy of ±0.5% for precise current measurement and control in demanding industrial applications. The CSNK500M-600 features an ultra-fast response time of 1 microsecond, enabling real-time current monitoring and protection in high-speed switching applications. 

The CSNK500M-600 operates reliably in ambient temperatures from -40°C to +85°C, making it suitable for harsh industrial environments with extreme temperature variations. The CSN Series of closed loop current sensors are based on the principles of the Magnetoresistive or Hall effects, and the null balance or zero magnetic flux method (feedback system). The magnetic flux in the sensor core is constantly controlled at zero.
