4119A - Intelligent Communication Module
Triconex 4119A is an Enhanced Intelligent Communication Module for connecting a Tricon controller to Modbus masters or slaves, a TriStation PC and a Centronics-compatible printer. Four serial ports and one parallel port can operate concurrently.
The serial ports support RS-232, RS-422 or RS-485 with 500 VDC isolation, while Modbus can operate in RTU or ASCII mode. Verify port assignment, cable pin-out, addressing, aggregate data rate and tag aliases before commissioning.
