Kontron AM4140 AM4140-SA-1.5(E)O-4-FR is a processor module in the AM4140 AdvancedMC family for embedded computing in compatible MicroTCA equipment. The platform combines Freescale QorIQ processing with configurable high-speed backplane interfaces for communication and industrial computing applications.
The single mid-size AMC construction provides management and payload power interfaces, front Ethernet and serial connectivity, a microSD socket and a configurable hardware watchdog. Rear ports support the documented Gigabit Ethernet, PCI Express, Serial RapidIO and XAUI arrangements. Processor core count, fitted memory and environmental grade must be matched to the complete ordering suffix rather than assumed from another AM4140 variant.
